Electronics and communication Engineering

Electronics and communication engineering has a lot of scope in this modern era of wide application of electronics. Electronic engineers are behind all of electronic components like Integrated chips, transistors, fibre optics etc. We have achieved ample development in areas such as telecommunication, health care, automation, signal processing, satellite technology, microelectronics, nanotechnology etc. which are all based on electronics engineering. Electronics engineering equips students with designing, analysis and manufacturing of electronic devices. Electronic engineers have job opportunities in telecommunication, Software Engineering, Power sector, Hardware Manufacturing, Home Appliance, VLSI design, Television Industry, Process Industries etc. Almost all medical equipment are based on electronics. So electronics engineers have jobs in medical instrumentation. They have lucrative jobs in embedded systems, Integrated Circuit manufacturing, Signal Processing, Circuit designing etc. In both government and private companies jobs are there job opportunities for electronic engineers for   operation and maintenance of electronics equipments. Electronic engineers can pursue careers in areas like defence, Space and other research organisations for designing and development of complex devices and systems for signal processing and telecommunication. An electronic engineer can find jobs in Consumer electronics manufacturing organisation, IT industries, Mobile communication, Internet technologies, Power Electronics, and other industries like steel, petroleum and chemical industry, directing control and testing production process etc. Teaching after M.Tech is also a good career option. Those who have interest in research activities can do Ph.D as well.
