Architecture Course

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.)

                      B.Arch. is an undergraduate degree course suitable for plus two Science students.  B.Arch. Degree course extends over 10 semesters (5years) including one semester for practical training and one semester for thesis work. For admissions to the Architecture course, the merit as assessed by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the ‘National Aptitude Test in Architecture [NATA], conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA), and the grade/marks in the qualifying examination will be the criterion. [As per directives of the Council of Architecture, India.]. B.Arch course deals with the planning ,developing ,designing and construction of buildings according to the requirements of their clients.This course demands artistic as well as aesthetic sense.The job of an Architect involves a lot of innovation, dedication and hardwork. M.Arch is the post graduation course after B.Arch.You can also do Ph.D in Architecture after post graduation. B.Arch course has a lot of career options in both public and private sector.After B Arch you can take up various projects individually and work independently.You can also become an Architect in Government firms through various government tests or you can work as part of various private construction companies.After postgraduation or Ph.D you can take up teaching as a career.
