                 After completing plus two in Science you can choose graduation in Maths .If you have interest in numbers, equations, solving problems with formulas,calculus etc. After graduation you can either pursue higher studies or apply for various jobs in public and private sector. If teaching is your passion you can do MSc Maths and Phd and opt for it at school and college levels.You can also go for higher studies like Master of Computer Application (MCA)or Master of Business Administration(MBA). In almost all bank tests and Government job exams those with graduation in Maths can score well as quantitative aptitude questions will be easy for them compared to others from non-Maths background.

Job prospects:-

                    The next career option after teaching, for those opting Maths is in Research and Development. Various companies and research establishments employ mathematicians and statisticians with other scientists in interdisciplinary research teams. In management services also mathematicians are required in the area of operations Research. Actuarial science is another area for mathematicians. The work involves the application of probability and statistics to financial affairs such as life assurance, pensions and social security. Other avenues open to mathematicians are Banks and Investment Firms, Commerce Industry, Financial Sector, Insurance Agencies, Inventory Management, Statistics, Utility Companies,Business and Industries etc.
