A new electronics lab is set up at ACE

A new electronics lab has been inaugurated at ACE.A new ' Electronics Devices lab 'and 'Elecronics Circuits Lab' has been inaugurated for the students of Electronics branch at ACE.

ACE salutes our ISRO scientists for the Mangalyaan mission..

  The students and staff members of ACE congratulates our Indian scientists for achieving its 'Mangalyaan' (MOM)mission.The Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), also called Mangalyaan "Mars-craft" is a spacecraft orbiting Mars since 24 September 2014. It was launched on 5 November 2013 by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).’Mangalyaan’ is India's first interplanetary mission and ISRO has become the fourth space agency to reach Mars, after the Soviet space program, NASA, and the European Space Agency. It is also the first nation to reach Mars orbit on its first attempt, and the first Asian nation to achieve it.

‘Chakra’-The Mechanical engineering Association at ACE.

                      The mechanical engineering branch has started its own association ‘Chakra’. It was inaugurated by NISSAN motors state head Mr. Jayadev .R on 20th September 2014.’Chakra’ is a very unique association with many vibrant activities. The topics that were discussed so far include technical talks ,road safety campaigns, health related topics, activities to bring out the talents of students etc. Even charity is given importance in ‘Chakra’. In a way ‘Chakra’ is meant to mould each mechanical engineering into a successful and innovative Mechanical Engineer. A talk on "INDIAN AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY FUTURE PROSPECTS" was given by Mr. Jayadev.R on the inaugural function at ACE. Stay tuned to know the further activities of ‘Chakra’…

Onam Celebration 2014

    Ace College of Engineering has organized its first Onam Celebration with the active participation of students and staffs.

National Robotics Challenge is back at ACE

          ACE college is going to host the Robotics Workshop(Basic and Advanced) cum Championship on 11th to 13th December 2014.This is the second time ACE is going to host the National Robotics Challenge after its successful event, International Robotics Challenge (IRC) Zonal Workshops IRC conducted by trained professionals from IIT Bombay. Students from various schools and colleges had participated in the workshop .

Fresher's Day at ACE

Academic Career Excellence, this was the definition of ACE given by Mr. Praveen S.K the keynote speaker from Career Launcher, Trivandrum on ‘Fresher’s Day’ celebration of the newly admitted first year students of ACE on 4th August 2014. The 2014 batch students were given a warm welcome by the staff members, faculties and senior students at ACE. Mr. Praveen S.K gave a mind blowing speech which was really encouraging and inspiring for all the students as well as all the audience. He concluded his speech wishing a wonderful time ahead for all the students at ACE.

Anti Ragging Seminar

An anti ragging seminar was conducted at ACE College of Engineering on 25th July 2014.The Anti ragging cell was inaugurated by Vice Chairman of Lokayuktha Sri.Gopalakrishnan Nair(Retd. District & Sessions Judge). Principal Mr.Farooq Syed presided over the function. Cyber police station Circle Inspector K.R Biju , Mr.Subramani, Campus Administrator Mr.Naushad , Mr. Rafeek Ahmed delivered speech in the function. Ragging is any undesirable form of behaviour of seniors towards juniors in schools or colleges and with an intention to torture the juniors physically, mentally or sexually. A  National Anti-Ragging Helpline was launched by the Indian Government as per the order of Supreme Court to prevent ragging. As per this order, students being ragged can send emails at helpline@antiragging.in to register their complaint  which can be registered without disclosing the name of the victim. If the students wants, he or she may even complain without disclosing his or her name by making an anonymous email id, or by calling the helpline number 1800-180-5522. Effective action will be taken by the helpline for the complaints registered to it.

                                              As prevention is better than cure,it is very important to make students aware of the ill effects of ragging,the sufferings of the victims and their family members,legal actions that will be taken against those who indulge in ragging activities.This was the main purpose of the Anti ragging seminar conducted at ACE by eminent personalities.The seminar was really effective and the gained a lot out of it.Students took pledge against ragging.
