On
10th, 11th and 12th of February 2015, a Robotic
Workshop was held at ACE college which was conducted by ARK Techno solutions,
Mumbai in association with IIT Bombay. It was organized in accordance with the
National Robotics Championship (NRC 2015) which is going to be conducted in IIT
Bombay and was in continuation to the Robotics Championship which was held last
year. The competition was the platform for the final stage of Championship to
be held in IIT Bombay during March 2015
for which our college was the zonal centre.Mr. Abdul Hakkim and Mr. Sree Swathy
were the student coordinators and Mr. Vishakh K H and Mr. Ragipati Karthik were
the faculty coordinators from the EEE and ECE Department respectively, as the
competition was organized by the Department of EEE and ECE.A total of 61
students from different colleges & departments participated. Mr. Dinesh K
from Ark Techno solutions was the coordinator for the Workshop. From the
contest for the basic event,3 teams were selected. Bluetooth modules and other sensors were
introduced and after the contest, 2 teams were selected.
Total 5 teams were selected for the final
level competition which will be held by end of
March 2015 at IIT Bombay. The Zonal winners were the participants from
ACE college.The Zonal winners for both the competitions (Basic and Advanced)
are students from S4 EEE.
